Cambridge GCE October/November 2026 Hong Kong Admission Forms Released: How to Check Your Exam Details
Candidates sitting the Cambridge GCE October/November 2026 examinations in Hong Kong should now check their admission details.
The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) confirmed on 14 September 2026 that admission forms for the written examinations have been released.
For private candidates, the admission form is available through the HKEAA Online Service Portal.
For school candidates, the form will be distributed through their school.
With written examinations beginning from 28 September 2026, this is something candidates should check now rather than leaving until the final few days.
Where can private candidates find the Cambridge GCE admission form?
Private candidates should log in to the HKEAA Online Service Portal and download their admission form.
HKEAA states that no hard copy of the written-examination admission form will be posted to private candidates.
Once the form is available, do not simply download it and forget about it.
Check every examination detail carefully.
What should you check on the admission form?
Your admission form contains important information including:
examination venue examination date examination start time the papers you are scheduled to sit
HKEAA specifically reminds candidates to check these details carefully and attend the correct examination centre.
Do not assume that two papers will be held at the same venue or at the time you expected.
Your admission form should always take priority when planning your examination days.
What if you have not received your admission form?
HKEAA states that candidates who have not received their written-examination admission form by 21 September 2026 should contact their school or HKEAA for assistance.
So if your admission details are still missing after that date, do not continue waiting.
Private candidates should contact HKEAA directly, while school candidates should first check with their school.
When do the October/November 2026 Cambridge GCE exams start?
The Cambridge GCE written examination period in Hong Kong runs from:
28 September – 11 November 2026.
Despite being called the October/November series, some written papers therefore begin in late September.
This is particularly important for candidates who assume they still have until October before examinations begin.
Check your individual paper dates now.
What if two exams clash?
HKEAA advises candidates to check the Cambridge examination timetable carefully because exam dates are fixed and rescheduling is generally not available.
Candidates with papers scheduled in the same session may be required to cancel one of the subjects, and examination fees are normally not refundable or transferable.
This is another reason to review your admission form and timetable immediately.
Now is the time to move from revision to exam preparation
Once your dates and venues are confirmed, preparation should become much more specific.
Instead of trying to revise everything equally, ask:
Which papers are coming first?
Which topics are still costing me marks?
Am I completing past-paper questions within the available time?
Do I understand the exact question style expected in each subject?
The final weeks should focus heavily on weak topics, past-paper practice, corrections and exam technique.
Simply rereading notes this close to the examination is unlikely to be enough.
